Each granule of Nutricote Balanced is encapsulated in a special type of coating which allows the crop to be supplied with nutrients for a longer period of time and does not require frequent application of fertilizers. Basacote Plus is a controlled release NPK complex fertilizer which is fully coated with patented polygen material. The product is ideal for nurseries, ornamentals and planting hole fertilization. Basacote Plus contains all nutrients required for healthy growth of plants. As a result, additional fertilizer applications are not necessary. Mixing into substrate is recommended directly before use . Each granule is coated with a patented polymer coating giving the fertilizer an extended release period.  Basacote Plus 6M has a rated longevity of 6 months at 20 degrees Celcius.  The release period depends on the temperature.   The application rate varies from 2-5g per liter of substrate used.
